Sump Pump Failure

Sump Pump Failure I'm pretty sure that having a swimming pool in your crawlspace would not be considered an amenity. Spring is finally here and with it comes water. If water isn't diverted away from your foundation it is going to seep in. In many cases a sump pump is the best solution, but if the pump isn't working you'll end up with a flooded crawlspace. Water and moisture in the crawlspace will eventually cause decay
to your floor joists and sub-floors as well as ruin your insulation. Moisture problems are also a major contributor to mold and fungal growth. Take my advice and check your sump pump. It will save you money and aggravation in the long run.
