 Measurements Come In Handy Sometimes
This is a short article about the importance of taking measurements before going out to buy appliances and how the wrong size appliance can cause problems at sale.

Sump Pump Failure

This is a short article about crawlspace flooding due to a sump pump burning out and not pumping the rain water from the crawlspace as expected.

Carbon Monoxide: The Silent Killer

Short but interesting article on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning and how to protect yourself and your family against this silent killer.

Is Your Family Protected?

Another short but interesting article about the importance of G.F.C.I. Outlet.

When The Obvious Isn't Obvious At All

Sometimes damage is hidden in areas which are pretty hard to inspect. Many times the areas surrounding the damage are in near perfect condition, but a good home inspector takes nothing for granted.

Ant Infestation

This is an article about a massive ant infestation I found under a crawlspace that has been inspected just a month before by another home inspector. My buyer wasn't even going to get an inspection, but was coached into it by his Realtor.

Broken Girder Discovered In Locked Crawlspace

This is one of my favorites. The seller was present for this inspection and claimed not to have the keys to the crawlspace. Each time I inched my way towards  the crawlspace he would engage me in further conversation. I was already suspicious when I found that the master bedroom was the only room in the house to be furnished.
